PIG is the traditional dish of this country!

Yes this is right news what you hear. We are talking about a country where their traditional dish is "pig" . This is absolutely true and they cook and grill whole the pig in one time without cut in pieces.
This Recipe is call cuy chactado and this is most famous dish in peru of South America. Actually this animal is called Guinea pig and is most popular as the alternate of chicken and meat dishes. This is a furry animal with puffy fur on it.
In the first look it seem to be innocent and cute but peruvian people mostly use it for their delicious food. Not only Peru, Equador and Bolivia also like it as their regular meal.
Guinea pigs bred for food are eaten once they have reached a couple of months old. They are served pretty much as a fish would be served, often only the intestines are removed. The head is edible and many people are very fond of this part. That’s going a bit too far for me but the rest of the animal is great to eat.
As per my opinion Guinea pig must not to be served in the plates. These cute animals need to be cared and affection not to be deep fried without a reason.

So guys if you go to Peru for any purpose don go to a cuy restro or hotel and show a pity on them.
