भारत की सबसे साफ पानी वाली नदी- उमगोंट नदी ( मेघालय)

मेघालय का छोटा सीमावर्ती शहर डावकी अपनी प्रसिद्ध उमंगोट नदी और एक सुंदर निलंबन पुल के लिए लोकप्रिय है।यह मेघालय का एक प्रमुख पर्यटन स्थल है।
उमंगोट नदी का पानी इतना साफ है कि उस पर तैरती नावें, मानो एक क्रिस्टल ग्लास की सतह पर हैं।  दाऊकी भारत और बांग्लादेश के बीच स्थित है और दोनों देशों के बीच व्यापार केंद्र है।  
लोग उमंगोट नदी में नाव की सवारी और आसपास की हरियाली के दृश्य का आनंद लेने के लिए इस स्थान पर आते हैं।  नाव की सवारी के लिए शुल्क रु।  800 / - प्रति नाव।
